New Clients get a Free Visit for an hour or so, to make sure we are all happy with your Doggy staying with me.
Your Doggy will receive regular chats, loving care and walks, as well as the run of my home.
If your pooch likes sleeping on the bed, that's not a problem either!!

ABOUT JULIE'S DOGGY CARE
About Me
When I had my own dogs I never put them in kennels and rarely left them with friends. It was really hard to find a suitable place to leave them where I felt they would be happy. So, the main aim of my little business is to provide a safe and happy place for people to leave their dogs. Happy Dog = Happy Owner!
Booking
I get booked up quite quickly.
New Clients: should book a Free Visit for an hour or so - to make sure we are all happy leaving your doggy with me.
Returning Clients: I suggest you first check that I am available (check availability), before making your own plans.
Arrival: Normally, the arrival time of a doggy can be anytime after 08.00 (or earlier). But, this will depend on whether I have an outgoing doggy. So, this will need to be discussed.
Departure: Normally departure should be before 11.00. If departure is after 11.00 there may be an additional Day Charge.
Payment
No Registration Fee or Deposit is required - just the payment for your doggy's stay, a few days in advance of your doggy's arrival by bank transfer, or on the day of arrival in Cash. Don't worry if you have to cancel even at the last minute - my policy is to give a full refund.
I do not have the facility to accept bank cards.
Accommodation
I live in a Bungalow with a large enclosed garden, and just 450m from the seaside - situated in a quiet area of Selsey. Your doggy will have the run of my home and garden - not a kennel in sight.
One to One Care
I normally only board one dog at a time (or up to 3 Dogs from same family)
I can board 3/4 dogs from several owners at the same time – though I try to avoid this - but if I think they will all get on, I am happy to accommodate.
Your doggies will have my attention for the duration of their stay.
Dogs have always responded well to me - I hope you get a dog back that has learnt something new!
Exercise
As well as the run of my home and garden, there will be walkies too. I will do my best to follow the routine required by owners, which will be discussed. Your doggy will be informed constantly about what is happening.
Health & Hygiene
Looking after the health of your doggy is important to me. I keep all areas of my home clean.
Licence and Insurance
I am licenced by Chichester Council - and I am insured.
Safety
Your doggy's safety is important to me - I will attach a special identification tag to your dog's collar for the duration of the stay - to ensure your doggy is always identifiable.

Tetley was obviously very happy in Julie’s home and she thoroughly enjoyed Julie’s loving care and attention. Julie did absolutely everything she could to keep Tetley happy and safe, including managing an unexpected seizure 5 days into the stay. Julie was brilliant, made sure Tetley was safe, and got her to a vet without delay. We won’t hesitate to ask Julie to look after Tetley again.

For the first time since lockdown we were looking for a pet sitter who would look after Woody, our Labradoodle. Luckily on our search we found Julie. She looks after just one dog at a time (or two from the same family) which fitted into what we required.
We took Woody over for a free meet, and immediately he took to Julie so we had no qualms about leaving him there. Julie provided all the information about her service and asked for info about Woody in order to make it a home from home stay.
Julie kept us up to date during his stay by sending photos, which was re-assuring. It was clear he had settled well and was very happy. We will be in touch again when we go away and would highly recommend Julie.
